In just a few days, we will finally reveal who will be ORCOMSOC’s SILVER YEAR EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE! But before that happens, allow us to express how much these past few days truly meant to us. :)
First, we would like to extend our deepest gratitude to all 12 candidates for their genuine desire to be of service to the organization. It was a joy to see both slates spend so much time and effort during the campaign period just to show their commitment in the respective leadership posts they are running for. We realized that posting specific lines/quotes of the candidates during their interviews would not suffice to give every voter a clear picture of what their future leaders would be like. Hence, we decided to have their interviews video-recorded, with every candidate’s consent. All questions asked were solely intended to give every candidate a chance to speak about their plans, hopes, and other thoughts regarding their decision to run for office. :)
Second, we would also like to thank everyone who already cast their votes. To those who haven’t voted yet, don’t worry! You still have until tomorrow to fill out those ballots! ;) Rest assured that every vote of every member will be included in the final tally.
Lastly, we just want to say how much we appreciate all types of feedback that we have been receiving from all of you. We value your opinions/suggestions as much as we hope that you also value ours. :)
OrComSoc is and will always be a support system for ALL OrCom majors. Again, thank you. Let’s keep on spreading the OrCom/Soc love! :)
